Business Development Manager - Wellington

Base of $80-$100 + OTE of $150-$180

Our client a proudly New Zealand owned and operated company that specialises in the provision of contingency and business continuity services to local companies, government organisations and multinational corporations, is currently looking to expand its Wellington City team with the addition of a Business Development Manage

The essential skills that we require for success in your application are;
Sales nature - A strong mix of high level sales calls backed up with face to face meetings.
We really want a hungry person with solid and confident 'hunter' abilities.
Sales abilities - prior experience in a BDM capacity. We are looking for at
least 3yrs of sales related experience.
Products - prior experience of offering sales expertise to include 'opening
doors' with providing services or software products.
Working background - we are essentially requiring people who have held long
tenure across previous sales roles.
Personality - the ideal person will have the confidence and abilities to perform presentations to clients..

It is essential that you have been responsible in your current or previous
role for 100% development and bringing on new business (we are not looking for
an Account Manager) this experience could have come from areas such as selling
Software, Services or Hardware - as long as the role meant that
you were the person who won this new business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hungry young salesperson who has
previous Business Development experience and is looking to join an organisation
who are extremely keen to promote their career growth.
